Let’s Talk About It: Difficult Situations in the Practice of Play Therapy: with Linda Homeyer
Overwhelmed with client issues? Or is it trying to keep up with all the new professional information impacting your work: evidenced-based, empirically-based practice, trauma-informed practice, mindfulness, brain research? What’s one to do with it all? This day will cover how to handle difficult situations identified by play therapists from across the country.

Processing Sandtrays with Linda Homeyer: Need more insight into how to process sandtray with your clients? This is the workshop for you! We will discuss various approaches to talking about completed sandtrays with children and adult clients.
Sandtray therapy is typically a technique for which most play therapist have not had much training. However, it is increasingly being used by play therapists for work with clients across the lifespan. This presentation will give some guidelines for use with a variety of coursing theories, but more importantly experience in how to process the completed sandtray with the client. Examples of pictures of sandtrays will be given including children and adults.
