Our Mission is to:

• Promote the understanding and valuing of play and play therapy.

• Promote the effective practice of play therapy through training, research, and support.

• Promote the recognition, incorporation, and preservation of diversity in play therapy.

• Promote the development and maintenance of a strong professional organization to accomplish these objectives.

We  work with many area Universities and Organizations to provide over 100  hours of APT approved Play Therapy instruction annually throughout New England.

We  work with APT to support the credentialing and re-credentialing of  Registered Play Therapists, Registered Play Therapy-Supervisors, and School Based-Registered Play Therapists as  well as to increase the awareness of play therapy in the professional  and public realms.
